I bought the keyless entry remote from the wed. Where is the Data Link Control?How do you program a 1991 Remote control. It says to jump 4 and 8 on the Data link control?
Well, if you look inside of the engine compartment there should be a little black box marked 'DIAGNOSTIC.'
You open that up, look at the lid for the correct terminals, and using a paperclip (you can use jumpers if you have em, a paperclip works just fine) you jump the two terminals it says (4 %26amp; 8) and follow the other directions it came with.
My gf has a Buick Rendezvous and it is located on the driver's side near the master cylinder.
