I want to turn as much off as possible. That way my computer will boot up faster. I just want to be able to turn things on when I want them turned on. I do not want them immediately turning on.How do I control what is turned on automatically when my computer boots?

If you use xp to to the start menu any type MSCONFIG in the box that says run. If you have vista type MSCONFIG in the box that says start search. Click the startup tab and uncheck the stuff you do not want to start up. Easy
