They pull me every which way, and walk under my feet. After a few minutes of walking, thier leashes are dangeroulsy twisted around my feet. . How do I control them?! They obviously control me!How do I control my two dogs on a leash?
Start by training one dog at a time. Each dog needs to be taught to walk on a leash. Once each dog is trained then walk them together. I have 3 dogs that I walk at the same time. How do I control my two dogs on a leash?
Ours walk with a coupler - it attaches to the leash, and then to both of their collars, so both of them are on essentially using one leash - no more tangles!
You can find one in just about any pet store, and they're fairly reasonable.
Good luck!
First obedience train them separately to heel and walk nicely on a leash.
Then get a handy little tool called a coupler that will allow you attach both collars to one leash so both dogs are walking off the same leash. It will take a time or two but they will learn to walk as a team.
You need to train them and practice good leash management.
I can walk 3 or 4 dogs at a time on leash, tricky but manageable.
gee....it's called ';training';
what a concept!
You train one dog at a time to walk, not pull on the leash.
There are also collar couplers.
And if you don't give them a lot of leash, it won't tangle around your legs.
think, girl
I've got a double-headed leash that works really well. You can restrict how much length either of them are given %26amp; that makes it worth it because they can't run around your legs that way!
I've actually sprained my ankle in the past by having my dogs wrap their leashes around my legs %26amp; pull me over (combined they're 80 lbs. pulling at me!) We take long 2 mile walks every day %26amp; its for exercise purposes, so I don't have time to stop %26amp; untangle them %26amp; the double-headed leash is perfect. I got mine from petsmart, but you could probably order it online from anywhere you like, or try a local pet store. I linked to a coupler from petsmart below, but it doesn't allow you to adjust the length each dog is given, so they can still run in different directions around you. The second link is from Drs. Foster %26amp; Smith %26amp; its the full lead, and its on sale!
This is all assuming that your dogs walk fine on leads separately, I know that both of mine do, but they're knuckleheads when I try to walk them together. Good luck!
You should sign up for classes and learn to control the dogs on a walk.. Classes don't teach your dog how to act, they teach YOU how to train your dog.. Take the classes and make your dog walks more enjoyable.
Get gentle leaders for them. It makes controling unruly dogs easy.

How do I control my emotions and not be amazingly happy one second and amazingly sad the next?
I am either jumping off the walls with happiness and excitement or i am crying my eyes out, really upset and feel terribly down.
Someone please help what can i do to control myself and just stay neutral How do I control my emotions and not be amazingly happy one second and amazingly sad the next?
Train yourself in stoic philosophy. I suggest you read Epictetus' Handbook. It may take a long time to attain a true state of stoicism, some never attain it actually, but even making the first steps toward it is progress...How do I control my emotions and not be amazingly happy one second and amazingly sad the next?
You might try and think that it really is very wonderful to be amazingly happy and throbbingly excited the one second and amazingly sad the next second.
You might try and think that your own glowy and your own gloomy moods all are great evidences of a much vivid ardent life in you, within the rich vaults of your own chest, on the immense bright shores and in the now flowery now snowy landscapes of your own soul.
Coolly ever strictly methodically controlling oneself may be like doing oneself into a robot or hostage or slave of one's own self; staying just neutral may be like being no fiercy daring lad and no ardent gal, colorless, tasteless, without those great spices and wild fancies of richly vivid life.
You might try and reflectively go on thinking that you are very lucky being what you are. And you might fiercely try and ever more diligently go on building up more good more glowing memories for the future.
Allow me to wish you many chances of great laughs.
i know that this is not a very good answer but...do tai chi...it relaxes your mind...once you relax your mind...you relax and control your emotions.
That might be Bi-polar. Go see a doctor.

How does cruise control on manual transmission work?
Do you have to stay in gear, or can you shift into neutral and activate it? I'm confused..
Thanks!!!How does cruise control on manual transmission work?
The same as in an automatic.
You activate it when you are doing a constant speed in a constant gear.
EG: You are in 3rd gear in a roadwork zone doing 40kp/h you can activate cruise and roll along at 40.
Or, you are on the highway in 5th gear, at 120kp/h, you activate cruise.
Cruise is disengaged when you push the clutch in, or touch the brake.
Cruise wont work if you are in neutral. You need to be in a gear for it to work. How does cruise control on manual transmission work?
The whole point behind cruise control is to maintain a desired speed. Once you reach that speed you set the control. You will still have to operate the vehicle in the same manner that you would normally. Having the control on and setting the control are 2 different things because it can be on be not set yet. I hope this helps.....I tend to ramble.
No you have to be in gear.
In my Civic (5 speed), if I was to depress the clutch, the cruise control will disengage automatically (like I was pressing the brake). So it will NOT engage in neutral of with the clutch depressed.
Good Luck...
once you reach the speed that you want just set it and to disengage it just hit the brake or tap the clutch, but it is better just to hit the brake.
If you're tired or drunk, NEVER EVER engage cruise control.. You will drive yerself into oblivion!

How do I control wireless dsl bandwidth or limit it?
I have at%26amp;t dsl. Both my laptops are windows vista premium.
My wireless router is a NetGear. I just want to know how to limit or controll wireless bandwidth for my wireless access. What software should I use or get. What else should I know about limiting the wireless bandwidth? How do I control wireless dsl bandwidth or limit it?
Depends if your router has a QoS option. In that, you can give priority to some computers or specific data streams. To do much more, you have to look at some external router that has bandwidth control, usually found in Linux-based routers such as ClarkConnect or Endian firewallHow do I control wireless dsl bandwidth or limit it?
if ur router has QoS, that'll be the easist way, otherwise, i believe there's a program called netlimiter that u put on pcs to limit bandwidth

How can i control condensation in my flat?
I live in an old property and suffers from condensation any suggestions on how to keep warmth in and condensation away. How can i control condensation in my flat?
Not easy I'm afraid - even with double glazed windows you can still get condensation.
You could try a dehumidifier - but these can cost quite a bit but they do remove the moisture in the air - look to pay about 拢200 or more for a good one.How can i control condensation in my flat?
turn the windows inside out so the condensation is on the outside
no not really...got the same problem in my flat...had extractor fans fitted 6 months ago that come on automatically after a certain temperature...useless...and expensive to run...so dont do that...lol
you might wont to think about getting a de-humidafier. water is coming from somware. so you need to get ride of it.
dunno bout a flat but I bought little boxes filled with somekinda crystals thqat draw in water for my mini last year and they worked a treat.
My auntie has a caravan and they put salt in a bowl in that over the winter to stop damp.
thats only advice i got im afraid.
What is the relative humidity inside the flat and what is the source of the constant water vapor? Is is a small flat, lots of showers, cooking, plants, aquariums or people?
You have comments regarding ventillation, do you have any? How many windows do you have, do they open?
Is your building well insulated or is that why you are cold? Is the flat hot in the summer? You say you have condensation, where is the condensation? Is it on the exterior walls, windows? Do you do laundry inside the flat? If so, is the dryer vented to the outside and located on an exterior walls?
There can be a gallon of water in a load of laundry when it goes into the dryer, that humidity needs to be outdoors or it will condense on cold surfaces all over the flat. It can corrode electronics, computers, etc.
If your flat is cold, keep your bed off the exterior wall, it is a big heat loss area and will be cold. I am going to link you to the most advanced thermal imaging in the world so you can see how your flat or other buildings use energy. I asked you about hot inside because buildings have 2 functions, heat loss and heat gain. Go to http://www.thermoguy.com/globalwarming-h鈥?/a> to see how building lose heat in the winter. Go to http://www.thermoguy.com/globalwarming-h鈥?/a> to see the summer function of a building. If your building heats up inside in the summer and you think you need air conditioning, UV is causing problems outside. Don't treat the symptoms with air conditioning. It is refrigeration with a nice sales name.
Condensation all the time is not good because it promotes mold which can impact your health.
There are things you can do for condensation, you have a very broad question.
idk
if you can leave some windows open / ajar this helps (bathroom and kitchen are good ones)hair cut styles

How do I control temperature on a charcoal grill?
I was wanting to know how much temperature each charcoal briquette produces and I was wondering about the how long to hold your hand over fire rule before you have to pull it away so that way I can try to control the temperature. I was going to grill some steaks next week that are about 3/4 in thick. How long should I cook the steaks on each side and should I cook them over indirect heat or direct heat? How do I control temperature on a charcoal grill?
answers to bbqing steaks are now up at http://www.certifiedangusbeef.com
It is summer and they love to have visitors at certified angus beef site. They have answers to temperature control of your grill, how long to cook the steaks as well as some really good marinades and side dishes you might want to try.
Enjoy your BBQ!How do I control temperature on a charcoal grill?
Steaks take direct heat. Good and hot. You should have enough coals to cover the grate one layer deep and start grilling when they are covered with a light layer of ash over the whole surface.
Time can depend on the temp the steaks are at as well as the coals' temp. 90 seconds on each side is a good average amount of time.

How do you control your nerves when singing?
When i start to sing i start shaking and then laughin when i get nervous do you guys have any ideas of how to stop that? How do you control your nerves when singing?
It is really hard to get rid of it totally and it takes awhile but it can happen. Get someone to stand outside of the room where you can not see them. Do this a couple of times and then get them to come into the room but be behind you or in your blind spot. Then have them come infront of youand sit. Give them somthing to do so that they are not just staring at you. Read a mag or watch the tv. Even when you are in public places like Kareokee night you will be calm once you are half way throught the song. You just need to practice at blocking everyone out and what is going on around you. Hope this helps. You are not the only one who gets nervous and giggly. Good luck and Good health to youHow do you control your nerves when singing?
Read the book, ';The Inner Game of Music';.
When I was younger I used to sing everywhere, back then I just closed my eyes and decided this song was meant to help someone. The pressure was off because it wasn't about me. I mainly sang every song for God, by doing that, my voice was annointed, I was told I gave people goosebumps.
If you are old enough, drink! Seriously, one or two drinks will relax you.
I just concentrate on the music. Also, I sing to the Glory of God, not to the glory of myself.
i go on stage %26amp; all i did was think i was the only 1 here but my friends .once u get 2 singin just dance mybe close your eyes %26amp;take a deep breath then open your eye.
Ok, you've heard from the mind crowd, the religious and the ';in my opinion'; group-Go see your family doctor and ask about a drug called Inderal(propranolol). It is used by professional speakers. It works by blocking that rush of adrenaline(epinephrine) that occurs during flight or fight reactions.
its really hard . i had same problem before but i learned dat true music comes from inside from da heart not da lips then everything will b fine
To sing properly before an audience I suggest you do what actors do before they perform. Warm up exercises, stretching exercises, etc. Also, when it's time to sing hear yourself in your mind start to sing before you actually start the singing. Then, begin. This will help if you have a shaky start.
try self-hypnosis, is a great way to get rid of any fear.
Ive been sining for about 15 years and the answer to this is very simple: Whisky
I have an expertise to this, nerves are simply a lack of a stage command. One must master this and have a commanding stage presence, this may take years and seasoning.
Something that I found out really helps. Whenever I go on a stage to perform, whether it's to sing, dance, or act, I look at one spot on a wall or one person and only look at that. It really helps!
Usually, nervousness is linked to not believing in your music or yourself. Trust yourself in knowing that you are good at what you do. If you suck, you'll know soon enough.
Stare at the back of the room, not at the people you're singing toward. Works for me.
Practice practice practice!!!! Only through mastering your talents and building confidence will you be able to face any performance without fear!
i cant really tell you what to do because the same thing that might work for me might not work for you. Its all different but for me i usually just take deep breaths as soon as i hit the stage. After a while i warm up to the crowd and im ok. Breathin techniques help alot.

take a xanax or a valium, it helps, i personally have a couple of cocktails, or a shot or two
i think it is about the type of music, and how comfortable you feel singing it. having someone there is very helpful, i speak from xperience. it took time, patience, practice, and time to build your confidence. good luck.
I take my contacts out. Can't see a thing. Nothing. Makes walking on stage a little bit tricky, but it works. Other than that...ummm, alcohol. Why do you think so many singers are alcoholics? NERVES!!! Good luck!!
I just take a deep breath, and concentrate on hitting my first note. As long as I can get that first note out strong and clear, I know I'm good for the rest of the performance. Also, I never look directly at the audience. I always look at the back wall, just above their heads. This keeps the head up, the throat clear, and the jitters at bay.
experience is the only way really, the more you perform the less nervous you will get. try performing for close friends and family, small groups of people first, get used to people hearing you sing. its a hard thing to get over, i used to be really nervous about singing, but i started taking music practice at college, i sing everyday, and as time has gone on, I've gotten used to it, i don't feel nervous at all.
It takes time, eventually you'll have practiced your songs enough times to have them so memorized that you kinda just go on auto pilot. Start working your abs more it will give you better control of your diaphram. Also Zanax helps but only if you have the words written down in front of you.
It's a mind-over-matter thing. Try to push through to that voice that you really want out of you. It'll work based on your determination.
Do a mental rehearsal with your eyes closed and imagine exactly how you would like to appear and sound to others. If your nervousness has a long history, you may need to do this a number of times but eventually you will succeed.
